First and foremost, I just want to clarify that I will be giving you an unbiased and honest review of Flavia’s workout system. Now before you decide whether or not this system is for you, sit down, get a cup of coffee and take your time to read the information I am about to give you. This information is CRUCIAL and will give you all the information you need, to decide whether you should grab a copy for yourself.

So, exactly what is Flavia Del Monte’s Curvalicious Workout System?
Well, to begin with, some of you will be aware (or may have) Flavia’s Full-Body-Licious Workout System, so you will know how good that was. You will also be aware of how tough it was, so for those of you who are being introduced to Flavia’s workout system and way of working for the first time then let me enlighten you.
Now I am going to get a little technical here but the reason you are reading this review is to find out what the system does, how it goes about it and what the end result be, am I right? Well Flavia’s Curvalicious Workout System is one of the first on the market (and I have tested many many programmes out there) to specifically use metabolic fat loss workouts. Ok, ok, I know most of you right now are saying, “What on earth is a metabolic fat loss workout?” or words to that effect! Well I shall explain. A metabolic fat loss workout involves resistance training for specific body parts which gives you the massive benefit of being able to burn calories long after you have finished the workout and in some cases this can be up to an astonishing 48 hours! Be honest with yourself here, when was the last workout you did where you were still burning calories almost 48 hours later?
Before I get into the actual programme itself, the pros and cons and what you actually get for your money I just need to tell you one more thing regarding why you should give this revolutionary new workout system some serious consideration. For a start, I wonder how many of you out there are getting so frustrated that it seems no matter what you try, it doesn’t seem to make much difference and you end up getting stuck in a relentless cycle of celebrity diets and exercise DVDs!
Well with Flavia’s system you are targeting specific muscle groups as well as doing the metabolic workouts and this is what gives your body the muscle definition. If you need any proof of what the system can do for you (providing you put in the required effort of course) then here is Flavia herself, pictured below.
Well I promised you an in depth and honest review and I am a man of my word so here goes.
What do I actually get if I buy Flavia’s Curvalicious Workout System?
1: The Workout Manual – Gym Version:-
This is effectively a breakdown of the entire system covering beginner, intermediate and advanced users so no matter what stage you find yourself at you won’t be left behind. It is a step by step guide and Flavia literally takes you by the hand through each exercise, telling you how each movement should be done, the weights to use, how many reps or sets you need to do and when and how to rest to gain the maximum effect.
2: The Workout Manual – Home Gym Version:-
This is essentially the same as the gym version although it has been cleverly tweaked to enable you to do the exercises at home if you can’t get to a gym.
3: The Nutrition Manual:-
Flavia actually advises you the right things to eat, when to eat them and how to eat them in order to provide your body with the right fuel to maximise your energy levels and control your hormones and fat gain. This is such an important part of the system and is often overlooked in most other programmes.
4: The Online Workout Videos – Gym Version:-
These are five separate videos, each targeting a separate area of the body; Legs, Tummy, Arms, Back & Shoulders and yep, you got it- Booty!
5: The Online Workout Videos – Home Gym Version:-
Again these videos are the same as the ones above but of course they are tweaked so you can do the exercises at home.
6 – The Printable Workout Sheets & Exercise Descriptions – Gym Version:-
Now of course I am sure many of you were worried that you wouldn’t remember the exercises from the DVDs by the time you got to the gym but of course Flavia has that covered too, in the shape of these beautifully illustrated workout sheets which detail each exercise, how to do it, the correct weights to use and how many reps or sets you should be doing.
7 – The Printable Workout Sheets & Exercise Descriptions – Home Gym Version:-
Yes, you have guessed it, these are the same as above but tweaked for home use.
8 – The Fab-5 Supplement Guide 2.0:-
This may not be for everyone but Flavia details certain supplements you can take which will help produce faster results but like I said this is an optional guide.
9 – The Pre-Programme Checklist:-
Last but not least, but nevertheless no less is important is the pre-programme checklist to make sure you are sticking to the system the way Flavia intends you to in order to obtain the best results.
Well, that covers what is actually in the system but what’s good or bad about it is no doubt what you really want to know.
Of course, being a man I freely admit to not being able to do many of the exercises in Flavia’s workout, hence I have passed this part of the review onto my wife Gillian who is currently sweating her way through the system!
Some of the exercises can be quite challenging at first and if you are new to Flavia’s workouts you may find some of the positions hard to achieve but try the beginner level and work up and you will soon get there.
You really need to be serious about this as the workout system involves a 5 day a week training schedule for 7 weeks so you must be committed or it simply won’t work!
Now to the good stuff, and there are many! For starters, the DVDs are exceptionally high quality and they almost look high definition on my screen.
Flavia actually tells you what to do in each exercise while she is actually performing it which helps a lot, especially with some of the positions that you might not have tried before!
It actually comes up on screen how many reps or sets you should be doing and if you need to use a specific weight.
A great advantage is having the home workout options as many people may not be a member of a gym or simply prefer to workout at home.
Flavia provides detailed workout sheets which tell you day by day, step by step what you should be doing.
Overall, what do I think?
Flavia Del Monte’s Curvalicious Workout System is in my eyes the best female orientated workout system I have seen. It is a no nonsense workout system which gets straight down to the business in hand and with Flavia’s background as a nurse, trainer and nutritionist if you follow her system then you are pretty much guaranteed to see great results.
I can certainly see a major difference in my wife since she started using it and for me, seeing the results in front of me beats any review I could ever write!
